UPCOMING CLINICS BOOK SESSION

Hey swimmers! This is coach Milo.

Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from you all on the internet.

Today's question is:

"How Do Swimmers Decide What Stroke To Train?"

Answer:

The stroke chooses you. Train what feels natural and enjoyable. If you enjoy it, you’ll work harder at it.
Until about age 15 or 16, train everything. Puberty changes the body dramatically, and strengths can shift. Keep an open mind. Focus on development, not early specialization.

Summary:

Train all strokes until mid-teens. Let natural strengths emerge and keep an open mind during growth years.
