UPCOMING CLINICS BOOK SESSION

Hey swimmers! This is coach Milo.

Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from you all on the internet.

Today's question is:

"Milo Cavic on overcoming the fear of diving into the water for new swimmers"

Answer:

Overcoming fear of diving is all about progression. You start simple—sitting on the edge and entering the water in a streamlined position.

From there, you progress to kneeling dives, then standing dives, and eventually to the starting block. Each step builds confidence gradually.

It’s important to do this under supervision and in a safe environment, with proper pool depth and guidance.

The key is taking small, controlled steps and building comfort over time.

Summary:

Fear of diving is overcome through gradual progression and safe practice, building confidence step by step.
